Each Clénot Boutique piece of jewelry is made from 18k gold and comes with a certificate of authenticity and a corresponding hallmark.
The legal warranty lasts 24 months from the moment of receipt of the jewelry.
Our jewelry is designed to give you years of enjoyment. If any defect should arise, we will make sure it is resolved quickly and fairly.
After the warranty expires, we are still available to you — we will be happy to advise on care, cleaning, or recommend the most appropriate procedure for any repairs.
What does the warranty cover?
The warranty covers manufacturing defects, such as:

loose or fallen stone,
-
faulty or malfunctioning fastening,
-
other defects caused during production that prevent the normal use of the jewelry.
We assess each case individually, taking into account the nature of the defect.
If the defect is recognized, we will ensure:

free repair or replacement of jewelry ,
-
reimbursement of shipping costs back to us (cheapest service available).

What is not covered by the warranty?
The warranty does not cover damage caused during normal wear or misuse, such as:

normal wear and tear (micro scratches, fine abrasions),
-
mechanical damage (deformation, chain tearing, breakage),
-
discoloration of the metal due to chemicals, perfumes, cosmetics or pool water,
-
allergic reactions to precious metals,
-
interventions by other goldsmiths or modifications made outside of Clénot Boutique.

How to proceed with a complaint
1. Contact us
Write to us at info@clenotboutique.cz and specify:
-
certificate or order number,
-
a photo of the defect,
-
a brief description of the situation.
Thanks to this, we can preliminarily assess the defect before sending the jewelry.
2. Response within 2 business days
We will contact you with the next steps.
If the jewelry needs to be physically assessed, we will provide precise instructions.
3. Sending the jewelry for assessment
(Only after our prior agreement.)

do not use cash on delivery.

4. Complaint handling
We will handle the complaint as quickly as possible, no later than 30 days from delivery .
We will inform you by email as soon as the jewelry is repaired, replaced, or another solution is offered.
5. Compensation of costs
If your complaint is accepted, we will reimburse you for the shipping costs back to us.
(at the rate of the cheapest available service).
Jewelry care
The best way to preserve the fineness of gold and diamonds is with regular care.
We recommend:

remove jewelry when doing sports, cooking, and cleaning,
-
avoid contact with cosmetics, perfumes and chemicals,
-
Store jewelry separately to avoid scratches.

Have your jewelry professionally cleaned once in a while.
